Mold Operator / Caster - 3rd Shift

Job description          

Dutchland provides training on the rotational molding process.
Shift: 3rd (11pm - 7:10 am)
Dutchland’s motto is “GO BIG.” We produce large, really cool molded products like Kayaks, playground and agricultural equipment to name a few, using our unique rotational molding process. Our Mold Operators / Casters play a key role in that process. Working as a team, you synchronize your work with 2-3 other operators in a fast-paced work cell. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by implementing 6-S principles. Clear molds of finished product/s. Load raw materials into mold. Measure and weigh raw material. Follow quality standards and process. Successful Complete Dutchland Rotational Molding Training: Basic Mold Care Venting 101 Intro to materials used in Rotational molding Mold Release. What to use and when to use it The basics of 6-S Requirements Manufacturing experience a plus! Reliable transportation. Proven work history with good attendance. Ability to troubleshoot rotational molding situations and provide solutions. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to use basic quality control tools and to read blueprints. Physical Job Requirements: This is a physically demanding position; employees must possess the physical qualities necessary to perform the following job requirements: Casters are continuously required to stand; walk; carry; grasp/grip; and lift up to 25 pounds. The position frequently requires the ability to bend/twist; push; and pull. On occasion, this position requires the ability to climb; move in repetitive motions; and lift up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: Manufacturing plant environment with warmer temperatures near ovens.
