portfolio analyst, Real Estate Contract Services - Seattle, WA

Job Summary and Mission This job contributes to Starbucks success by evaluating and processing real estate contractual agreements in alignment with portfolio strategy and mitigating business risk through ensuring compliance with Company and legal standards through timely and effective administration. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Manages workflow and document production against critical dates and lease obligations. Adheres to document management standards, records retention requirements, and landlord communication guidelines. Documents and files critical lease information. - Collaborates with portfolio managers on the interpretation of contractual agreements. - - Acts as subject matter expert regarding the lease renewals and amendments and the process related to our business and Company standards. Collaborates with multiple business unit partners by representing the portfolio business unit, department or functional area on cross-functional project teams. Conducts lease-related renewal evaluations and analysis, identifying exceptions to Company standards, and obtaining approvals from applicable departments. Establishes and maintains strong working relationship with fellow partners to drive the successful operation of the retail store. Manages the dissemination of pertinent lease information into all appropriate lease management systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitors project schedules in support of strategic initiatives to ensure timely review and execution of lease and other related documents to safeguard existing real estate assets.
Summary of Experience Commercial real estate or comparable business experience 2 years Lease analysis and abstracting experience 2 years Property management, paralegal, legal assistant or lease administrator 2 years Administration of commercial real estate contracts or comparable business experience 2 years
