As a Business Analyst II in the Business Transformation Organization, you will apply critical thinking to cross-functional collaborative efforts in order to solve for business needs. In this role, you will elicit, document, and define business requirements and contribute to process development for low to moderately complex initiatives with visible impact to the business and / or systems. In addition. This role will leverage analytical abilities to contribute to key insights and optimized solutions that have a visible impact on the business.

What you will do: Translate ambiguous business needs into solid business and functional requirements for small projects or portions of larger projects with low to moderate complexity. Elicit information to create concise, organized Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) using standard, industry recognized tools and best practices. Partner with business unit and IT or other departments as needed to ensure successful implementation and ongoing business and / or systems support when appropriate. Create detailed Use Cases, User Stories and other documents to illustrate business needs. Facilitate small group meetings Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and individual interviews of stakeholders in a positive way to identify desired business objectives. Conduct research and interview subject matter experts to create 'As-is' and 'To-be' process flows. Apply critical thinking to evaluate cross functional dependencies, including upstream and downstream impacts. Create business facing test scenarios, test scripts/cases, and mock ups of data necessary to conduct testing. Create the traceability between requirements and scenarios to ensure business requirements are met. May monitor and report on testing activity and results. Provide input on the development of appropriate training materials to support the needs of functional areas. May investigate system problems and enhancements for business units.
What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree or four years’ work experience. Two years’ analytical experience in a technical or business environment, which includes one year performing business analysis functions (gathering business requirements, documenting process/data flows, or performing gap analyses.). #LI-SS1 #GD
