Inventory Control/Quality Assurance

Job description          

The Warehouse Inventory Control / Quality Assurance is responsible for product quality, as well as management of product inventory.

Required Skills and Experience:
High School diploma/GED.
6 months - 2 years related experience.
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Critical thinking and technical writing skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and email communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Associates or Bachelors degree in food science, dietics, food distribution, hospitality, public health, or a related field.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Communicates with customers and/or vendors regarding product quality concerns, while also ensuring prompt resolution of product quality concerns.
Responsible for conducting product quality reviews
Assists Corporate Quality Assurance Specialists with distribution center audits and reports.
Assists in completing projects pertaining to SOP, SSOP, HACCP, and SQF plans
Assists with product recalls, withdrawals, holds and inventory verifications.
Other projects or duties as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
