Duties and Responsibilities (varies by position, may include but not limited to): Load Machine Setpoints and validate all connections are accurate and functional Identify necessary process, mold, and/or machine adjustments for molding defects such as flash, warp, and short shots Set process parameters on injection molding machines Set up and program auxiliary equipment including robotics and automation equipment Perform maintenance and skilled repair work on complex machinery and auxiliary equipment including robotics, automation controls/programs, cameras and sensors, labeling equipment, etc. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on complex equipment problems and report findings Complete changeovers on all Production equipment Install and remove tools (molds and dies) from machines as directed Follow all documentation to provide accurate connections Complete material and/or color changes Operate equipment: Injection Molding Machines, Crane, Mold Carts Produce consistent material and part count throughput that meets quality standards Identify and accurately report equipment problems related the system and utilities Ensure equipment cleanliness between maintenance intervals Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications: Injection molding experience is highly desired Possess ability to apply mechanical concepts and principles to perform daily tasks Satisfactory knowledge of maintenance systems and automation systems Ability to work under moderate Supervision (or more constant Supervision during training) Clear verbal and written communication required Improvement focused mindset with attention to detail Strong work ethic including good attendance, positive attitude, team oriented, success driven, consistent and high-quality work Physical Requirements include: lift min. 30 lbs+, push, pull, bend, twist, lift, kneel, hand/eye coordination, exert pressure to secure bolts, connections, and hook-ups Must be comfortable with heights and working in tight spaces Availability to work varying schedules to accommodate Production Schedules
