Technology Education & Support Trainer PT/ 08 Hours Per Pay/ Varies
The Technical Education and Support Trainer has key accountabilities in the design, development, delivery and support of technical training programs furthering the mission, vision and technology investments within Premier Health Partners. The Technical Education and Support Trainer primary responsibilities include needs assessments, courseware development and delivery using multiple methods and modalities. S/he is responsible for responsible for learning success within PHP and will collaborate and partner with resources across the PHP organization in order to improve educational impact. The position will identify learning objectives, create training classes and material and deliver/facilitate, as needed. Learning interventions consist of formal classroom training, presentations, support sessions and small group training. Participates in and staffs support initiatives. Maintains a practical knowledge of the clinical systems, any other interfacing computer systems, the systems’ implementation processes and ongoing educational requirements. Familiar with a variety of training development concepts, practices and procedures included blended learning approaches. This position is responsible for coordinating with Technical Education Application Specialists and Technical Education and Support Managers to plan implement and evaluate training programs within the context of the organization’s needs. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Training and subsequent support of other technical systems related applications as assigned. Works with other members of the training staff to achieve measurable results. Seeks to learn and use new and emerging processes and technology to enhance the learner experience based on foundational knowledge of adult educational and learning principles.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in the related fields of Clinical Informatics, Management Science, Education, Business Management, or Organizational Development

Licensure: Not applicable

Certification: Credentialed in EPIC applications – required within 3 months of start date.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical or operational experience in a Healthcare setting, OR five years of training and development experience in enterprise applications.

Skills/Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - preferred. The incumbent should demonstrate an understanding of organizational behavior, creative problem solving, self motivation, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of instructional design, healthcare operations and general business processes is desired.
