Splunk Administrator SME
Splunk Administrator, monitoring/supporting a major financial system in the AFLCMC BES Portfolio. Regular tasking would include but not be limited to Splunk administration and customization, vulnerability and threat assessment, and Compliance/Cybersecurity support.
Duties & responsibilities:
Administer Splunk infrastructure, including forwarders, indexers and data heads.
Create custom dashboards to support specific PMO requirements.
Generate Splunk reports for various functional areas of PMO to support specific mission requirements including audit support and performance monitoring.
Coordinate with the PMO cybersecurity team to provide artifacts that support the RMF ATO.
Coordinate with the PMO cybersecurity team to establish baselines for fault detection and incident response purposes.
Coordinate with DISA SAs to ensure all Splunk OEs and related operating systems and software are kept up-to-date and STIG compliant.

Excellent communication skills when relaying complex, technical information to leadership.
Ability to work well within high opstempo environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with large team consisting of many specialties across multiple contracts.
Technical skills required:
Expert-level understanding and experience with the configuration and administration of Splunk ES and its associated infrastructure.
