What does a great Technical Risk Analyst do?
You will become the Risk & Fraud SME for our third-party data sources. You will be involved in all aspects of managing our data sources including data analytics and reporting, client engagements, and vendor contract negotiations. You will also be responsible for working with our external clients on fraud and risk metrics reviews to ensure the rapidly changing fraud trends are being captured by our strategies.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
You are responsible for Data Source Management
You write and develop SAS programs and/or SQL queries to track key risk metrics for clients and upper management
You lead client-facing engagements to increase their knowledge and understanding of data source results
You will collaborate with internal business owners and vendors to evaluate existing processes and identify/analyze improvements where applicable
You support vendor selection, solution design and implementation for new product/process enhancements
You will coordinate with internal technical engineering teams & vendors to quickly rectify any issues
You will monitor daily vendor performance reporting to actively identify issues and raise to key partners
You're responsible for Client Facing Reporting Reviews and you assist with presenting risk metric scorecard reviews to clients
You will also assist with responses to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from both internal and external partners
You will engage and assist with Merchant Vetting, as you review merchant vetting requests within SLA guidelines by evaluating financial risk metrics
What are the basic qualifications for consideration?
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum of 2 years Analytics experience required
Proficiency with SAS and/or SQL required
Client facing or consulting experience required
