Supply Chain Manager

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with a background in material planning, forecasting, and replenishment. This individual should have excellent excel and data analysis skills as well as an understanding databases and experience leading projects/implementations. The Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining demand and material forecasts and forecast accuracy. The candidate will help develop short and long-term proposals for demand and material forecasting and product replenishment. This role requires experience with forecast methods as they are applied to demand and material forecast systems and process as well as an understanding on how to manipulate the forecast parameters to maximize demand forecast accuracy and minimize demand forecast volatility. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute new processes for demand and material forecasting by SKU and department. Work cross-functionally with internal partners to propose short and long-term solutions for demand and material forecasting. Development and implementation of new demand and material planning processes, models, and KPI performance reporting tools. Lead the monthly consensus review meeting with cross-functional team, capturing aggregated product line risks, adjustments to material plan, and opportunities for gap closures. Maintain and continually analyze accuracy of demand forecasts and demand forecasts volatility, and maintaining demand forecast parameters as necessary. Execute changes based on accuracy analysis and other driving factors including history, trends, and initiatives based on customer/field feedback. Ability to flex processes and analytics within the entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and autonomy. Merge business knowledge and expertise with statistical models in order to enhance the forecast while also integrating input from Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders Participate in special projects, providing leadership, and executive presentations. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or other application field of study; Or relevant work experience Minimum of three years of forecasting and material planning experience Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Comprehensive understating of demand forecast methodology and Demand Forecast Accuracy calculations (MAD and MAPE). Outstanding analytical skills & be data driven. Hands-on experience with Inventory management & demand planning and replenishment process. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Basic understanding of SQL helpful.
