Major Account Sales Specialist II (MASSII) is responsible for providing superior customer service and achieving expected sales goals through in-store execution of various programs, initiatives and standards. This position partners with Store Managers of Parts and the Major Account Team, providing inspirational customer service to our Major Account customer base.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support end-to-end procurement including, but not limited to, sourcing, acquisition, and reconciliation of P-Card.
Support Major Account bid submissions and other initiatives which may include interchanging and quotations.
May support facilitation of award launch through on-site client visit and product evaluation.
Increase customer satisfaction by offering to special order any item we may not currently have in stock; being fair and honest to the customer and the company for any additional costs and time of delivery.
Handle all customer complaints promptly, effectively, positively, and with empathy for the customer concern.
Safeguard company inventory by following all company policies, practices, systems, and completion of forms for all transactions involving invoices and credits for inventory shipped or returned.
Maintain clear channel of communication with supervisor and associates.
Miscellaneous office work including copying, mailing, filing, data entry. Stamp and enter packing slips with invoices.
Enter stock orders and take special orders. Manage customer backorder process. Clear printers, print out cores and defects.
Research credits and discrepancies and match manufacturer credits.
Effectively communicate with all store associates, management, and customers.
Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund and return policies. React to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of a two-year college or technical program; or 1 - 3 years of retail and/or service industry experience is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
Maintain a valid Driver's License is required.
ASE P2 (Parts Specialist) preferred and ASE P2 (Parts Specialist) required within two years of hire into position required.
Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
Ability to apply mathematical formulas to calculate commissions and discounts.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
