What we're looking for:
We are looking for a phenomenal Assistant Store Leader to motivate and lead our retail team, execute operational responsibilities, and enhance our customer's in-store experience at our SoHo flagship.

What does the job entail?

Executing planning by the Store Leader Building relationships with customers Ownership of store appearance, cleanliness and organization Promoting and monitoring high quality service among retail ambassadors through training and leading by example Maintaining count and control of all cash Establishing and maintaining opening and closing procedures Assisting in the hiring of passionate people and inspiring existing employees Assisting in regular employee reviews and maintaining constant dialogue to ensure happiness and well-being of each employee (open-door policy) Ensuring Allbirds's mission and values are embodied Ensuring the store is in compliance with all State and Federal laws, including wage and hour, human rights and equal employment opportunities Maintaining a safe work environment for employees and customers Ensuring store security from internal/external theft and knowing proper apprehension and prosecution procedures Being the leader on duty when the Store Leader is out Actively contributing towards meeting and exceeding the team's sales goals Comfortably lifting 30 lbs on a regular basis and standing for 95% of the work day What kind of person are we looking for?

3+ years of retail experience, footwear is a plus 2+ years of retail managerial experience Positive attitude and enthusiasm Engaging relationship building with customers and designers Connection to Allbirds's philosophy and products What we can do for you:
