B2B Marketing Lead - Professional Communications

Job description          

The B2B Marketing Lead – Professional Communications will define the strategic approach taken by the B2B Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for identifying insights to inform an overarching strategy to engage the full professional veterinary community. By way of an omnichannel approach, customers at all levels within the industry will be reached with relevant, personalized, meaningful content that supports Zoetis’ full portfolio and long-term growth strategy. Cross-functional leadership (both within marketing and the broader organization) will be imperative to ensure that the Zoetis portfolio is leveraged to achieve maximum growth potential, while optimizing the NGSE evolution. This individual will have dotted line responsibilities for a Content Manager, who will be responsible for developing content that supports the strategic vision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define “Contact Acquisition” strategy – campaigns that enable Zoetis to: Expand our quantity and quality of B2B contacts for vets, techs and staff for aligned accounts Develop specific strategies to gain emails from unaligned accounts (ex. postcards with drive to web) Develop program for contact acquisition for vet professionals (i.e. technicians) utilizing Zoetis Petcare Rewards Program Develop campaigns to 3rd party sources to gain opt ins Develop content for journey to keep engaged and expand profile Develop lead generation and scoring capabilities Lead Petcare B2B Email Prioritization initiative, which includes: Development and management of common calendarization and guidelines Development of a systematized customer-based prioritization approach (future state) Work closely with Customer Experience team on Website updates to ensure B2B Petcare presence on Zoetis US reflects customer needs and marketing goals Devise and execute content planning and digital campaigns to improve customer engagement. Includes establishing awareness of Zoetis and our brands, deploying targeted campaigns by customer segment and improving digital presence (e.g., web sites, visual assets, sales collateral, etc.) Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to generate leads, nurture the customer relationship, encourage referrals and drive purchases on our ecommerce platform.
Champion the customer experience and be the expert in their journeys. Structure and implement marketing tests to drive optimization (e.g., test creative, audience segments, triggers, etc.) Work with customer insights team to map key journeys and regularly gather customer and salesforce feedback. Continuously improve and optimize customer experiences and communications across Petcare marketing. Oversee B2B Petcare above-brand strategy and campaigns, such as: Evolve “Zoetis Petcare” branding for professional space Vet Tech Program – umbrella program for all Vet Tech Education Initiatives Value-add webinars, including Digital Marketing series for Veterinary Professionals Initiate common B2B Marketing Cloud journeys for brands can leverage, including lapsed customer journey, new customer journey, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Mastery of strategic marketing, brand maintenance, and marketing/finance principles Excellent understanding of customer experience principles in a B2B market Brings fresh thinking and ideas to the table and accompanies every problem with a solution Strong presentation/facilitation skills with large and small audiences Strong communications and team-building skills across company functions Strong organizational and project leadership skills Demonstrated knowledge of organizational acumen and working in a matrix organization Responsible steward of Zoetis resources. DESIRED REQUIREMENTS 8+ years’ experience in marketing with a strong track record of driving effective business and digital strategies. Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively. Experience in developing content strategies for broad portfolios of products and solutions. Excellent understanding of customer experience principles in B2B environment. Proven ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across functions and business divisions. Experience directing and managing agency relationships. Demonstrated planning and execution skills across multiple projects. Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem solver. Demonstrated blend of creative and analytical talent.
