Our Provider Revenue Cycle Practice
Revenue cycle management can create business and technology challenges for organizations, particularly with the changing reimbursement landscape. To meet those challenges, Deloitte offers among the most comprehensive set of Revenue Cycle consulting services and products in the health care industry. We are recognized for innovation and thought leadership, and have developed proprietary methodologies and tools, using analytics to help clients achieve their goals quickly and efficiently. Work you’ll do
As a consultant, you will be expected to consistently perform in a variety of challenging roles, contribute to team deliverables, responsibly manage your time, develop your skill set, and deliver creative, compelling insights to our clients. Typical project responsibilities of a consultant could include:
Supporting work plans for specific components of an engagement Coordinating activities within a work stream
Analyzing large, confidential, and complex data sets Participating in client interviews and meetings Developing process flows to identify challenges and opportunities in business processes Conducting detailed analyses, drawing conclusions, and developing pertinent and insightful recommendations Producing deliverables with management direction Presenting findings and recommendations to project leadership Op Model Transformation Team
Our Op Model Transformation team focuses on transforming our clients’ core business operations. We advise, design, implement, and deploy solutions focused on “heart of the business” issues in specific sectors including Health Care, Banking & Securities, Insurance, and Energy & Resources. Our Market Offerings include Operating Model Transformation, Payments & Revenue Cycle Innovation and Emerging Business Models.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to create a flexible, innovative business model supported by a strong operations foundation. Professionals will use their deep sector knowledge and technical business operations consulting experience to take a more strategic view of our clients’ priorities, helping them to prepare for growth, embrace the digital agenda and maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations in a health care provider, consulting, or technology vendor environment Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings Commitment to personal and professional growth Sense of responsibility to self, team, and client Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion Demonstrates consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility Performed above expectations in previous professional roles Willingness and ability to travel 100% Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte’s consulting offices Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
In addition, successful Consultants will also have the following preferred skills
Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA) from a top tier program Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and communication skills Ability to build consensus and foster change in a client business setting Tolerance for working in ambiguous, uncertain environments Commitment to personal and professional growth Sense of responsibility to self, team and client Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion How you’ll grow
