Call Center Representative

Job description          

The Call Center Representative will educate members of the Federal Family on the features and benefit options of the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program in a call center environment. In addition, conduct out-bound calls to potential insureds and assist with the application process.

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with MS Office suite. Must have excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Must possess or be able to quickly attain understanding of long term care funding options (and their tradeoffs) and explain how Long Term Care Insurance fits in the broader context of retirement planning. Decipher detailed policy language and translate into easy to understand concepts. Demonstrate proficient desktop computer skills and ability to navigate and utilize multiple applications during the call process. Must be able to work independently, as well as be team oriented. Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy and professionalism when dealing with all internal and external customers.

Preferred

Experience in an inbound call center or in outbound calling campaigns. Experience in sales and/or the insurance industry. Experience using a customer relationship management systems. Experience using GoldMine.

This is a temp position.
