Quality Control Technician, Constructors Inc.

Position Summary: Constructors, Inc. is searching for a highly motivated Quality Control Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for technical related issues and the communication of Quality related matters, to ensure compliance with the company’s standards of expectations and contract specific documents.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for sampling, testing and reporting results of aggregate and hot mix in a timely manner; Ensure the aggregate and hot mix products delivered to job sites meet specifications; Ability to obtain a Quality Control Technician certification from the Nebraska Department of Transportation; Provide customer service to help provide customer satisfaction. This could include internal and external technical communication on materials, production, and/or construction processes; Establish and maintain relationships with material suppliers, local public agency staff, customers, and local inspection and testing companies; Participate in and promote safety procedures to promote a safe working environment including compliance with all safety rules and regulations; Preform other duties that may be assigned.
Position Requirements/Qualifications High School diploma or a GED. Prefer 1 to 3 years of experience in the Quality Control field or related field. Valid driver’s license is required. Strong math and computer skills required. Technical knowledge of materials and construction concepts. Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources and time. Team player, with strong leadership skills, who can work effectively with others. Ability to travel on a regular basis, with occasional overnight stays. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management. Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
