CHI Health at Home Infusion is looking for Admission Coordinator. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of infusion therapy, enteral therapy and durable medical equipment to infusion patients and customers. Competitive compensation plus incentive bonus opportunities Comprehensive health care benefits and wellness program Tuition reimbursement (based on employee class) Responsibilities Orders intake from referral sources with a high level of knowledge regarding infusion therapy, enteral therapy and durable medical equipment. Verification of Government payors and insurance coverage, including but not limited to: Medical policy and payor requirements for IV and RN. Responsible for negotiation of payment rates with insurance agencies and extensive knowledge of revenue, including but not limited to, government payors and managed care contracts. Coordinates start of care with referral source, patients and delivery for services. Performs data entry at a high level of accuracy. Assembles and completes paperwork in a timely manner as required by payors. Acts as a resource regarding revenue to branch and reimbursement departments. Responsible for initial prior authorization as required by governments and insurance payors. Performs with a high level of knowledge of product lines and customer service standards. Acts as a resource for both internal and external customers. Provides marketing support as directed by the Manager. Acts as initial contact for client troubleshooting and conflict resolution. Responsible for providing the Sales Team with referral tracking reports, information regarding customer service issues that require marketing intervention. Participates in team meetings. Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) Program Coordination; including assisting with the overall development and implementation of the PI plan, assisting in the identification of goals and related patient outcomes, participation and reporting of activities and outcomes, development and implementation of corrective plans. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three years IV/DME customer service experience required. Typing proficiency and computer skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Medical terminology preferred. Ability to function well as part of team. CHI Health at Home Infusion is a company within CHI Health at Home.
