Graduation and NCAA Specialist

Job description          

The Graduation and NCAA specialists work as a team processing and maintaining student records related to graduation, NCAA certification, and study abroad. Specifically, the specialists support the PeopleSoft ?Grad Tracker? for use by staff and advisors and provide names and degree awarded of graduating students for the University commencement programs and other units, as needed; process the ordering of diplomas, including requests for replacement diplomas, including requests for replacement diplomas; apply the policies, regulations and provisions of the University and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) concerning enrollment and academic requirements to determine the academic eligibility (certification) of student-athletes for participation in Atlantic Coast Conference- (ACC) and/or NCAA-sponsored athletic events; process the enrollment of students who have completed University approved study abroad programs; and process department and college approved exceptions to University graduation requirements for students in the Tar Heel Tracker. The Graduation and NCAA specialists will coordinate efforts with all members in the department to achieve a happy, healthy, and highly effective working environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
