Communications Specialist

Job description          

The Communications Specialist will support the School's comprehensive fundraising strategy through the successful design, development and execution of timely and inspirational campaign communications, alumni and donor communications, print and digital materials, e-newsletters, social media and marketing, donor-relations projects and fundraising proposals. While the position doesn?t necessitate an individual fundraising goal, the development and distribution of these promotional materials is critical in optimizing the department?s fundraising efforts and in the attainment of the school?s fundraising goals. Working in partnership with the School?s communications team, the Communications Specialist supports a unified approach to the Gillings School brand guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
