The Enterprise Risk and Finance (ERF) Platform Management team within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is seeking an experienced Technology Manager to provide outstanding leadership of technical resources focused on application availability, security, and infrastructure lifecycle management for applications aligned to Credit, Legal, Market, Model, and Operational Risk. Core responsibilities will focus on incident and problem management, security and vulnerability management, configuration management, and overall technology health of all application and infrastructure environments in the portfolio. A qualified candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead technical teams in a 24x7 environment with the ability to maximize production availability, ensure secure and sound technologies, and deliver effective and timely technology solutions. This position requires facilitation of the relationship between the platform technology organization, infrastructure teams, and area development teams. This Technology Manager will function as the escalation point of contact for platform management and will provide the appropriate technical solution supporting the platform operating environment. Specifically you will: Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks
Required Qualifications
10+ years of technology experience 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment 4+ years of application production support experience 5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure) 3+ years of experience coaching and developing a team
Desired Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to interact with all levels of an organization A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology Experience integrating Wells Fargo enterprise systems with vendor platforms and technologies Knowledge and understanding of platform technologies including network, distributed systems, desktop computing, voice, and threat management technologies Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies Knowledge and understanding of creation, interpretation, or enforcement of technical baselines for multiple operating system platforms and applications Ability to manage projects and issues involving multiple technology platforms Exposure to Wells Fargo's Remedy Asset Management (PAC2000) application Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: build/deploy processes, and release management Knowledge and understanding of system deployment processes to multiple environment regions Management experience in a large corporate, multi-line business organization Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
