Digital Intern/Co-op - Project Management

Digital Intern/Co-op – Project Management About The Position Ameren Services provides support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Nearly 1,400 employees serve the company with business planning, communications, diversity, financial support, human resources, information technology, legal counsel, safety and supply services. This is a January – August or May - December Co-op position or a May – August Internship in St. Louis, MO. The Digital Project Management Organization (PMO) is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of projects at Ameren. The intern or coop will participate in meaningful work activities and will provide support and direction to the Ameren Digital PMO related to project delivery. Each intern/coop will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and assistance throughout their experience at Ameren. Coaching and feedback are a key part of this experience. Each intern/coop will have the opportunity to work with our talented, experienced Digital PMO staff while completing their work assignments. As an intern or coop in the Digital PMO organization, you will get exposure and experience to the following areas: Project Management across various Digital portfolios Financial Management (budget, forecasting activities) Schedule Management (using MS Project Online or Primavera) Current project management tools (Service Now, Jira, Rally, MS Project Online, etc.) Work with our vendor management team to assist in contract and statement of work management The Digital PMO intern/coop program provides students with valuable work experience as well as provides Ameren with a source of highly talented candidates for full time positions. Qualifications: Current student status pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, or equivalent computer-related field from an accredited college or university required. A GPA of 2.5 is required and a 3.0 or above is preferred In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following aptitudes: Good analytical and human relations skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly Ability to work effectively as part of a team Adaptable and flexible to change Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
