System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. Your Role and Responsibilities
BM is seeking a Windows/Intel Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide client server support for problem and change tickets surrounding the Windows infrastructure. This position assesses the client situation to determine problem facing the client. In this role, problems are not routine or standardized and the creation of documentation explaining the solution to the problem is required.
This position is physically located in Columbia, MO. No remote work is available, except when required by the business. Pager coverage and possible off-shift coverage may be required.
We are looking for someone the has the following:
Excellent organisation, prioritisation skills as well as proactive and energetic approach.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Leadership role - lead Windows team in various RFS/build projects. Assist & back-up existing lead.
Ability to perform project work and server builds in a fast-paced environment
Support a complex Windows environment with 7000 Windows servers (virtual and physical)
Proven ability to resolve problems in a timely and proactive manner.
Proven ability to interact with Customer and IBM teams in a positive, results oriented, professional fashion.
Adhere to documented Security policies and practices as well as demonstrated ability to modify Windows settings, registry keys, etc. to make the server compliant with a specified setting
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
At least 3 years experience in Intel Systems Administration
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
At least 1 year experience in VMWare ESXi5 or up
Basic knowledge in scripting
Certified in any Intel Platform Operating System (OS)
Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality products under pressure
