Gather information critical to the execution of our products as it relates to price/package/chain promotions, sampling, new product launches, new package/brand strategies, store openings, and local events while maintaining accurate forecast levels
Conducts tactical analysis of weekly sales history and review system algorithms and/or parameters to ultimately provide for the best future forecast
Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Revenue Growth Management, and Commercial teams for appropriate forecast inputs
Leads forecast realignment strategy for intermittent promotions and package transitions.
Monitor and measure product selling trends to make timely forecast adjustments in the system, ensuring continuity of product supply
Track and measure accuracy discrepancies, conduct analysis, complete root cause analysis, and establish solutions to improve accuracy via reporting routines
Develops best practices in forecast data entry to support staggered starts, channel/chain specifications, and ad start dates
Use the systems to validate the assumptions related to new product introductions and marketing strategies and/or initiatives that occur throughout the year
Provide weekly innovation, promotion, and discontinuation status updates with senior leaders and stakeholders
Conducts trend analysis, forecast, and data entry for the Product Supply Assessment (PSA) volume in product innovations.
Determine the optimized sourcing solution for all new product launches.
Leads the customer and warehouse AML (authorized material listing) process across Planning and Operations assisting with training, process documentation, and execution for innovation and promotional SKUs
Maintains effective structure and organization to ensure successful problem-solving actions are executed, from beginning to end over a SKU’s entire lifecycle
Executes change management practices throughout the sales organization, targeting the new product roll-out process.
Communicates forecast adjustments for product innovation, using the data obtained from trend analysis.
Provides ad-hoc reporting on trends, feasibility analysis, brand performance, and forecast accuracy to applicable leadership.
Participates in the SKU management analysis to help identify products that are underperforming.
Acts as a lead resource for all Demand Planning research, support, and troubleshooting for process and best practice solutions implementation
Essential Job Functions:
Forecast accurate sales for each product to efficiently drive the supply chain process.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop and recommend product forecast, new items, strategy implementation, and execution.
Executes new product launches and SKU optimization utilizing Heartland technology and the partnerships within Sales and Commercialization functions.
Conducts periodic process analysis, identifying and developing best-practice solutions for implementation.
Assist with training, coaching, and developing the Supply Chain Analysts on process execution within innovation, promotion, and AML functions.

High School Diploma or GED required, and a minimum of 4 years’ work experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Previous experience in Logistics, Planning, or Supply Chain in a fast-paced, demanding environment necessary.
Prior experience working with Planning Management Systems and Procurement required.
General understanding of Supply Chain activities and the dependencies related to other functions.
Strong working knowledge of Inventory and Capacity Management methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
Previous experience with Process Management; strong, fact-based, problem-solving abilities.
Strong Process Improvement skills (Six Sigma, LEAN) with the ability to implement process changes, improving efficiency and cost saving goals across all functions.
Strong prioritization and management skills; executes tasks in a timely manner and drives change cross-functionally, utilizing the project management strategy and concepts.
Confident; capable of representing the Supply Chain function positively, both internally and externally.
Maintains a sound understanding of business processes; includes visualization and integration concepts within the technology available to Heartland employees.
