Loan Operations Specialist 3

JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for all loan operations. Responsible for ensuring that all documenting, booking, funding, and servicing tasks are completed in compliance with the applicable regulations, MidCountry Bank policies and procedures or special requirements as dictated by the loan approval authority.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Reporting: Prepare and review loan operations reports Ensure accuracy of regulatory loan reports Conduct periodic reviews of HMDA reporting 2. Servicing: Receive change requests from internal and external customers, identify changes necessary within existing portfolio, and process changes through the applicable processes. Provide professional, timely and courteous service to all customers. Perform critical file maintenance in an accurate and timely manner Accurately process complex transaction requests 3. Booking: Transfer documented loan details to build the loan file in the system of record. Accurately build complex loan files to transfer loan documentation to the system of record. 4. Documenting: Prepare loan documentation that matches the approved customer request. Create standard and complex documents necessary to meet Credit Policy, Regulatory and Compliance, legal and procedural requirements for commercial, agriculture, and consumer and mortgage new loans, modifications, refinances, extensions, renewals, change in terms, and subordination within established SLAs. 5. Reviewing Complete a pre-closing review of all loan documentation by ensuring documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner as approved in the Credit Approval Presentation, any errors are resolved in a timely manner, and that loan documents are compliant with applicable state and federal lending laws and regulations. Assess accuracy of boarded loan information and system maintenance by comparing newly boarded loans against the signed loan documents. Review loan account maintenance requests completed by Loan Operations, ensuring any errors are resolved in a timely manner. Provide support to Loan Operations and Lenders by partnering with department managers to provide training, being a resource to Loan Operations, identifying and analyzing trends to determine process improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience Required: 3+ years of loan administration or related experience; Fiserv and LaserPro experience preferred Preferred: 7+ years of loan administration or related experience
