Zepto is opening a full-time Partnership Development Manager position. This position is responsible for developing partnerships with pharma and biotech partners, enabling them to benefit from Zepto’s highly sensitive platform solutions, including POCT immunoassay, companion diagnostic and breakthrough new assay development.
The successful candidate will be results driven and collaborative working cross functionally with internal stakeholders including R&D, legal, regulatory affairs, finance, investor relations, and program management.
Identify potential partners and develop partnership strategies with in-vitro diagnostic companies to bring best POC assay to the market by leveraging Zepto’s immunoassay POC platform.
Identify strategic partnership opportunities that align Zepto’s liquid biopsy portfolio with oncology development and commercial oncology drug portfolios that generates liquid biopsy platform growth.
Build strong relationships with senior level R&D and executive management at partner organizations.
Develop and manage all aspects of partnership development strategies and responsibilities while working in conjunction with subject matter experts to develop complex partnerships.
Finalize partnership structure with senior management team.
Drive progress to exceed defined partner objectives; proactively raise critical issues with proposed solutions.
Communicate effectively with all internal and external partners and stake holders.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Science or Equivalent.
Five to seven years’ experience in alliance partnership development and management in medical device industry, in-vitro diagnostic or companion diagnostic industry preferred.
Demonstrated successful track record of structuring, negotiating, and closing business agreements of moderate complexity.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive critical business decisions, and effectively manage multiple projects at same time in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success in facilitating and maintaining senior-level relationships in partner organizations.
Result driven, self-starter with collaborative mindset, and ability to think strategically and analytically.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Capable of working both independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Preferred Education and Experience
MBA or master’s degree in life science with 10+ years of alliance partnership development and management in medical device industry; in-vitro diagnostic or companion diagnostic industry preferred.
Significant experience partnering with biopharmaceutical and in-vitro diagnostic companies; including but not limited to contract negotiation and strategic partnership management.
Up to 50% travel is required.
