Position Purpose & Summary
The Cyber Command Center Leader provides global leadership, definition and strategic direction to the Command Center teams: Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), Security Operations Center, Cyber Intelligence, Forensic Investigations/eDiscovery, Vulnerability Management, Security Automation/Orchestration, Business Resiliency and Purple team within the Technology Governance Risk and Control (TGRC) group.
The Cyber Command Center Leader works closely with the CISO to provide protections across the whole of Cargill and extending into the collaboration within the sectors and regions where Cargill operates. The role demands operating with a high sense of urgency, understanding the threats and threat actors that may impact Cargill operations and implementing tactical and sustainable protections to assure Cargill operations.
This role must operate at the highest levels of confidentiality, responsibility and follow through. High degrees of integrity, trustworthiness and ethical behaviors are key.
This role provides strategic direction for the development of processes, monitoring, communication, reporting and the execution of practices for management of advanced threats externally and within the Cargill environment. They will also provide senior level management with reporting developed to understand risk, compliance and sustainable processes.
Rapid absorption of the current landscapes and anticipating future shifts in needs is a must. Methodical approaches to process implementations, searching for gaps, and applying resources to achieve the primary mission are key.
The Cyber Command Center Leader is accountable for all aspects of their team’s strategy, delivery of services, maintaining quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
40% Strategy and Planning
Develop the strategy and approach for the global TGRC organization including but not limited to intrusion, active response, wargames and deterrence processes and policies.
Coordinate the communication of the strategy, policies and processes globally with Cargill IT Leadership, TGRC team members and other key Enterprise and Corporate stakeholders.
As part of the Leadership Team, drive future strategy
Plan and develop the TGRC Information Security /Threat management budget in conjunction with the Infrastructure Security manager(s) to accomplish agreed strategies, plans and objectives.
Actively manage team and response to changing landscape of technology threats.
Actively engage in information sharing across industry, trusted partners and law enforcement.
Oversee the direction of the technology stack for the teams.

Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning, coaching, and engagement for the teams
Manages and provides coaching to direct reports, including coaching Cargill core values
Participates in selection of direct reports and plans for future workforce needs
Provide regular and timely coaching to team members

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or information systems, or 7 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
10 + years of professional IT experience
Possess current security certifications of CISSP or equivalent
Previous leadership in an Operations Response role, or other a combination of senior Information Security or Audit roles
Demonstrated ability to effectively and succinctly communicate with senior leadership pertinent facts, figures and status during high-stress situations.
Experience in managing third party vendors in a global, managed services environment.
Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous situations
Proven record of high performance in problem solving, collaborating, planning/priority setting, timely decision making, perseverance, and a drive for results.
Proven record of process improvement, increasing efficiencies with a focus on effectiveness.
This role must possess the ability to learn on the fly, manage through systems and common processes, and have sufficient overall intellectual horsepower to address the demands of the team.
Exceptional teaming skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, and understanding and appreciating differences.
Ability to accomplish results through others (lower level managers, professional employees, managed service employees).

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the global organization and cross-function/platform.
Business fluency in English.
Ability to travel globally up to 20%
Masters' Degree (MBA)
5 + years of professional experience with antivirus, security correlation, or intrusion detection.
Experience in metrics development, reporting and analysis.
Experience in a large SAP environment.
Experience operating within a large, global managed services framework.
Ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions.
Work experience in multiple countries.
Non-English language skills.
