eLearning Designer

Job description          

This is not a remote role and does not have the ability to turn into a remote role - the position requires the candidate to be onsite in the AOTMP Headquarters Office which is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. AOTMP is expanding and we are currently looking for a eLearning Developer. The eLearning developer is responsible for the creation of role-based technical training for telecom professionals. The eLearning Developer will utilize adult learning theories to construct training courses, assessments, and job aids in various media.
Position Details: Job Title: eLearning Developer Location: AOTMP Headquarters - Indianapolis, Indiana Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Employment Type: Full Time Employee Benefits: Health Vision Dental Benefits, PTO Options, 401 K, Employee Discount Programs and more! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and build AOTMP University specific training based on content provided by onsite Subject Matter Experts. Write knowledge checks, exercises, scripts, simulations, or games, as needed. Create and Develop e-Learning modules in Adobe Captivate & Articulate Storyline. (The ideal candidate must be an expert in Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and 360). Prioritize concurrent projects to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of all content. Coordinate with other curriculum development peers on projects, timelines, and deliverables. Review and edit training content and documentation. Standardize content across platforms and media. Work with Senior Manager, Training and Development and Information Team on identifying curriculum gaps and recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
2-3 years' experience creating eLearning modules and courses. Experience developing eLearning using Articulate and Captivate required. Experience with storyboards, learning objectives, course outlines or course modules required. Proficient with SCORM. Proficient with Word and PowerPoint. Experience using ADDIE or a rapid instructional design methodology. Experience using adult learning theories. Ability to assimilate and organize content into meaningful training delivered in various media. Experience managing multiple projects under tight time constraints. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in technical writing or instructional design, CPLP is certification or equivalent experience preferred.
