POSITION SUMMARY Provide quality products and services in the operations that will assist member owners of River Valley Cooperative to be financially successful in their farming operations and provide for a sustainable local cooperative operation to serve member needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES Reasonable Accommodations Statement: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles Mixing, loading and application of pesticides/fertilizers; including filling anhydrous ammonia Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals Unload and load grain from storage bins and or transportation. Perform daily vehicle inspections Clean and maintain equipment Utilize heavy machinery, such as an end loader or skid steer Observe all OSHA, DOT, state, federal safety regulations at all times. Follow housekeeping practices that keep the facilities neat and clean. Perform duties at other locations/departments when assigned. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. May operate the mill to manufacture feed Apply pesticides and fertilizers at applicable rates to the appropriate fields Support River Valley operations in other functional areas of the operations business as needed

Tanker, Hazmat endorsements are a plus
