The Art of Education University (AOEU) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our rapidly growing institution. This individual will play an integral role in the marketing of AOEU’s educational content as well as the planning and marketing of university events.
Structured as a full-time exempt position within the institution, the Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Nolan Denker. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment.

Maintain a high level of collaboration with the Director of Marketing on all digital marketing activities that drive acquisition and growth including content marketing, analytics, email marking, and website maintenance.
Cooperatively plan marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials, such as event promotions, newsletters, posters/banners, website, annual report, etc.
Consistently measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROIs and KPIs).
Identify trends and insights to optimize performance based on the insights gained.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams cross-departmentally to create landing pages and to optimize the users' experience.
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
Collaborate with AOEU’s vendor partners.
Planning and executing in-person events (NAEA).
Marketing and executing online ticket sales (Art Ed Now).
Sophisticated grasp of vendor management and superb communication skills.
Responsible for all event-related marketing assets, execution of the marketing plan and sponsorship opportunities.
Market and coordinate in-person events (NAEA and State conventions), working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Market and coordinate AOEU’s online conference, “Art Ed Now.”
Responsible for the coordination, packing, and fulfillment of “Swag” boxes.
Locating and securing sponsors for 8-15 products art teachers will find high-value.
Partner and collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development teams to gauge the reception and success of events, tailoring future events accordingly.
Strong ability to work collaboratively, independently, and with multi-stakeholder execution.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Strong sense of self-motivation and self-direction.
Ability to multitask with the capability of ideation, testing, and executing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Ability to oversee tactical implementation of varied marketing strategies across traditional digital channels.
Serve as a backup member to the Customer Engagement Department
This position must be within a 30-60 minute drive to AOEU Headquarters, located in Osage, IA, with remote work available as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
The position of Marketing Coordinator is a full-time salaried position. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. The Art of Education University provides a benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, appropriate technology, self-managed PTO, 401K benefits, and more.
BS/MS degree in Marketing or a related field
3+ years of proven working experience in digital marketing
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Proficiency in CRM marketing
