Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX) is looking for an exceptional service experience design intern to join our team for a three months internship to support the development of its product certification and credentialing service. Reporting to the Principal Experience Designer, the service designer will be playing the role of part futurist, design strategist and part hands-on pragmatist designer. You will be responsible for assisting in visualizing the service and system requirements into experience flows, systems documentation and prototypes for new product certification & credentialing service development.
Create holistic and innovative design prototypes that address business, existing & future systems and user requirements
Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process
Research and analyze current and future UX technology patterns and design trends, including market research and competitive analysis
Create artifacts, such as information architecture diagrams, screen flows
conceptual diagrams, task flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
Prototype innovative solutions that go beyond interfaces and product specs to user goals, storyboards
Influence UX strategy and share user-informed perspectives
Manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision
Full-time student pursuing an advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design Strategy, Service Design, Experience Design, Technology Design, or equivalent at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation
Understanding of machine learning and its applications to human learning
Experience with or interest in instructional design
An excellent visual communicator and collaborator
Interested in solving cross-disciplinary research problems
Insatiable curiosity and an understanding of how asking questions ignites ideas
