Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) Key responsibility will be to partner with the broadline sales organization to ensure that operating plans to deliver key customer and sales growth objectives are established and executed. This position will develop an in-depth knowledge of the respective markets and customers to partner with Sales to drive profitable growth, build customer P&L’s, control trade accounting and analysis, support AOP volume planning, develop division specific KPI’s, develop and provide both standardized and ad hoc business analysis relating to key Accounts to identify growth opportunities. Manage and develop 1 Sr Analyst. Job Responsibilities: Manage the planning cycle and trade and pricing processes for sales. Revenue responsibility of $350M per division Manage Sr Analyst to complete administrative trade tasks and support on trade tasks Develop and coach Sr Analyst on trade role for succession planning and future trade roles Manages the development of customer trade plans to achieve AOP objectives Partner with Channel Marketing on White Space Reporting to identify growth opportunities and develops promotional programs to achieve the growth Calculate ROS on all trade programs related to the business as well as customer level P&L’s based on distributor programs Integrate marketing, product and category strategies to customer promotional plans Coordinates development and communication of trade programs and compliance to the program Collaborates with sales in the development customer plans, business proposals, marketing programs and business reviews Develop and present analytics to Sales that highlights business risks and opportunities Build relationships with key customers and brokers and support Sales on contract negotiations and customer specific promotional plans. Work with product marketing / BU team to ensure pricing supports the value proposition Measure and report trade results vs. plan and highlight variances and provide bridge Analyze planned trade events and make recommendations for adjustment and future customer plans Provide feedback regarding competitive climate to product management Identify best practices and standardize across all territories. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. MBA and/or CPA preferred 5-7 years experience in sales, marketing or finance Foodservice trade/pricing experience preferred Ability to translate business issues into actionable tactics that drive positive results The ability to work cross-functionally and to manage a large number of complex projects simultaneously with a proven track record of customer focus (both internal and external). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills with sound expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
