Keep socks in size standards according to sock construction sheet and layout.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Make sure machine numbers & styles are correct according to floor plan
Pick up a sock from each machine and number sock with machine number. Washable markers only!
Take socks to sizing table and use ruler to check top length & width in centimeters
Use sizing machine to cross-stretch the foot of the sock compared to set standard. This also is measured in centimeters
If a sock is out of size, the amount of adjustment needed is written on the sock with marker
Out of size socks are took back to machine and machine is flagged
Size information is kept on daily report, by line, style & machine number
After 3 lines are completed, auditor goes back to recheck out of size socks on those lines. Any socks still out of size machine is shut down & technician notified
Run copy of paperwork at end of shift and give copies to master mechanic & department manager
Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality
Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner;
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Basic education in reading, writing & mathematics
Good communication skills
Must be able to read a ruler in centimeters & understand measurements
Must understand functions of sizing machine and how to use it
Self-motivated & work well with others
