HOURS OF WORK: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
LOCATION OF WORK: Central Transfer Station, 1111 E. 56th Avenue
Example of Duties:
The accounts payable clerk is responsible for receiving, reviewing, applying account coding and input invoices into SAP. Apply credits, discounts, schedule vendor payments, reconcile credit card statements, track various reports as requested, and order office supplies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and eighteen (18) months of clerical accounting experience, one (1) year of which was at the Accounting Clerk I level with the Municipality of Anchorage, or the equivalent elsewhere.
Ability to type at a net of 35 WPM and 10-key at a net of 150 KSM at time of application.
Note: Documented typing speed ability must be attached to the application to be considered. The documentation or certification must contain the applicant's name and be current within the past one (1) year.
Must possess a valid State of Alaska driver's license or be able to obtain it by the time of hire.
Experience in coding, data entry and/or reviewing of data.

All required certifications and licenses must remain current for the duration of employment.
